Can everybody please adopt OpenID & iNames?

OpenID and iNames is slowly making it's way, but way too slow. For the moment there really is only one site that I really use that allows me to log in with my iName: Plaxo.com. If Google were to jump on the bandwagon that would be a huge step foward: my gmail account and my blogs would be covered. I must have between 50 and 70 username/passwords out there. They are all nicely stoed in a password tracking software, but if all these guys were to adopt OpenID, life would be so much easier. Just as an example, the sites I regularly use where I need to supply username and password:
Frequent flyer sites from British Airways, Qualiflyer, Eurobonus, MilleMiglia, Aspentech support site, Apple ID for my iTunes, Nikeplus site for tracking my runs, Proximus site for my mobile phone points, LinkedIn site, Scarlet.be, my internet provider, my Skype account.
So that already makes 12 sites that I use on a regular basis, say log into them at least once a week.

So, if you read this and you like the idea, send off a mail to all sites that you need to log into and ask them to support OpenID!
